Not dead yet…
I’m the type of person who goes through stages of mad, wild productivity and then slide to the other end of the spectrum and get absolutely nothing accomplished.
I’m starting to slide back to the other end, though.
For the past few months I’ve been in an abyssmal place and have done pretty much nothing creatively.
The funk, it leaves me… the creative spirit, it returns…

That can be quite depressing, feeling like you’ve accomplished nothing. I’ve felt that a lot myself the past few years, but I think things are generally picking up, and if they’re not, well, I’m better able to weather it. I know you have it in you too, and setbacks aside, you have a lot of skill, wonderful stories, and fans who eagerly await whatever your creative spirit wishes to unveil. I hope you were able to get some employment down. Even if it’s a meager one, it can really make a difference to enable you to pursue your dreams.

Does this mean that we can expect to see more of the comic, “Grand Blue Door”? I have sorely missed that comic, since I started it reading it (and it immediately became one of my favorites) right when you stopped updating it.

Glad to hear your creativity’s returning, Bex. I always loved reading GBD and would honestly like to see what you can come up with next, even if it isn’t GBD. You always had a great knack for storytelling and an art style I’m still in awe of.

Hey, if you really ARE still alive Bex, you might want to do something about all the nasty spam in the forums and the on the Comics page. It would be nice if the last thoughts we had from your characters are not about porn videos and Tramadol.
