The fact that I'm writing such a topic when the forum contains a grand total of me (and the almighty Bex, who happens to know and see all) shows a great deal of optimism, but hey, it's the weekend. What better time for it?

Hello! I go by Aeromage around here, and am a long-time reader.

Well, to be honest, a long-time reader who went away for a long spell then came back and realised that Grand Blue Door was reviving itself, much like a lungfish in the wet season.

Unflattering comparisons aside, I greatly enjoy the comic, and look forward to meeting more people that feel the same.

So have at it! Introduce yourself! Don't leave me shouting into thin air!

I'm back.

I randomly got contacted earlier today by someone who caught my name in the old Flatwood game that Aeromage and I worked on with Zach Parker, which prompted me to decide to go see if I could find anyone from that project again. That led me here, where I see that things are off to a fresh new start. It's good to see GBD up and running again.

Gadigan! Good lord, I wasn't expecting to see you again. Hopefully we can attract all of the old guard back, hmm? I can certainly poke hppire back into action.

Speaking of Flatwood, that reminds me I fell off there a while ago, too... perhaps I should wander over there again at some point.

I remember you used to be in some of the games I ran, and I finally got my online game site running after vanishing from here. It's currently on its fifth year of existance, and it's doing really well. New players are always welcome, though, and I'd love having you on the site.

No wonder you've been so busy. I took a look over at the site, and it seems quite an undertaking.

It looks interesting, although it seems to be mostly composed of statistic blocks and complicated rulesets, with little in the way of roleplay- I haven't taken a thorough look yet, however, and I certainly can't say that 2am is the best time to be reading through large forums.

(May I suggest we move further discussion in this vein to PMs? We don't want to end up dragging the new forums off into the wild blue tangential yonder just yet. At least, not until there are more members.)
